Introduction to the European Very Long Baseline Interferometry Network (EVN) and the Joint Institute for VLBI ERIC (JIV-ERIC). The presentation will also present the 32-m radio telescope in Toruń, operated by Nicolaus Copernicus University, as a component of the EVN and an important contributor to European and global VLBI research.
